It is on the Avon Valley Path

Aside from being able to walk around the town itself, Ringwood is also found on the Avon Valley Path. This path is a well-known walking route for hiking enthusiasts and is 34 miles long. Whilst you won't be able to walk the entire thing in one go, you can walk from Salisbury all the way to Christchurch.

Whilst there is plenty to keep you entertained in Ringwood, another great thing about living here is that it opens up a wider area for you to explore. You can travel around Hampshire and Dorset, taking in a variety of forests that surround the area. This is ideal if you are a fan of long walks or you love outdoor activities such as mountain biking. 

If you do ever venture out of the area, then you will also be pleased to know that Ringwood is never very far from the beach, allowing you to enjoy everything that being close to the sea has to offer.
